Runaway Princess Windham State Penitentiary

Ms. Goggin,
I want to say that on Friday June 2nd when you were in the Southern Maine Women’s Re-entry Center here in Windham and you passed out the flyers to your performance I felt the realness that was about to take place. When you began I was not sure where you were going with the it, but then when you got into the deep dark part of your life in addiction and everything else it made me know that no matter who you are it can happen to anyone. I now know that I am definitely not alone in this journey. I really connected with you and your performance. I cannot wait to see it with all the bells and whistles…. Again thank you for going out of your way for us women, we needed that.

  1. Mary,
Wow what a performance! I could see myself while you were performing, it was crazy. I couldn’t have asked for a better day or a better person to meet than you. All seriousness. You have inspired me in so many ways. You have given me the real hope that I can overcome anything if I just put in a little effort, God will do the rest. It’s so good to talk to you on the phone and thank you for always answering. This is the beginning to a new and healthy relationship that I am more than looking forward to. Anybody who sees your performances will be more than inspired and amazed. I’m damn near lost for words for how lucky I am to have met you, seen you act and now have you in my life. Thank you so much for the commitment you made to coming to the Woman’s Re-Entry Center in Windham and giving us a peak at your life and your own addiction. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Love you Mary!
